Minding the Bedside: Nursing from the Heart of the Awakened Mind

is a book about mindfulness, meditation and compassion practices, written specifically for nurses. However, it can be read and bring benefit to anyone who would like to learn to work with their mind and heart in being more present in their daily life.

This site is dedicated to the creation of a community of people whose focus is on bringing mindfulness, meditation, and compassion practices into their life and in sharing their experience –successes as well as failures – in applying these practices.

Additionally, this site will serve as a hub for news on nursing and meditation, neuroscience and meditation, body-mind research, issues related to nursing and…anything that you bring to the site!
