RN.FM Radio Interview: Using Meditation to Unleash Your Career

2012-08-06 08:15:14-04
This week’s Meditation Tip of the Week will be preempted with a special announcement: It’s radio interview time!! In the spirit of helping others to help others to help themselves, I’d like to encourage you all to listen in to the live radio interview that will be happening on Monday, August 6th, at 9pm EST. If you can’t listen to the live broadcast, please feel free to listen to the archived interview, it’s sure to be an entertaining evening. RN.FM Radio is the brainchild of Keith Carlson and Kevin Ross, two nurse-entrepreneurs, who are working to empower nurses to speak their truth and work from their heart. I’ll be covering topics on meditation and compassion, and how to take these vital human attributes into your workplace to unleash your greatest potential. This isn’t a sales call. It’s not a “sign up here” call, with the expectation that you’ll join anything. This is simply an opportunity for me to share the vision of an empowered workplace, one based on meditative awareness and compassion, an opportunity for you to be a member of the listening audience, and a chance for you to visit RN.FM Radio and support its vision. I encourage you all to listen in, comment if you’d like, or just show up to support the work of Kevin and Keith. Please stay tuned for the regular post that will be coming out later this week titled, What Is Meditation Anyway, And Why Meditate? It’s going to be a HUGE post, full of lots of cool stuff…maybe even a few surprises! Thanks for your support and readership, it’s great! I feel so very lucky to be able to provide you with content on meditation, compassion, and all of the good stuff that we share together on this site. As always, please let me know if you’d like me to cover something that you feel is missing here. Related Stuff: Can Meditation Change the World? Additionally, this site will serve as a hub for news on nursing and meditation, neuroscience and meditation, body-mind research, issues related to nursing and…anything that you bring to the site!
