Dear Friends - |
I hope that this note finds you all well.
This week my family and I have taken some time off from our busy lives to hike, bike and camp in Moab, Utah. We'll be hiking in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and taking some well-needed time to reflect and meditate on life.
Since I won't have time to write a post this week, I've decided to share some other content on meditation with you and to introduce you to another writer whose work I really enjoy.
Dr. Ian Gawler is one of
Australia's most experienced and respected authorities on
Mind-Body Medicine and meditation. A long-term cancer
survivor, Ian began one of the world's first
lifestyle based cancer groups - in 1981, has written a
number of best selling books, produced an on-line
meditation-based, mind training program - www.mindbodymastery.net and blogs regularly - www.gawlerblog.com. Enjoy!

And, once again, if you haven't seen it...
|
I sent this out in the last email to you and I wanted to share it again.
I just received an incredible review on my book, Minding the Bedside: Nursing from the Heart of the Awakened Mind. (You can find the link to the review below)
For
those of you who don't know the history of this site, it was this book
that first inspired me to create this blog (hence the name, "Minding the Bedside
") and that got me into writing content on meditation.
Anyhow, recently the site, nurse.com, contacted me about writing a review of the book and doing an interview with me for their blog - yay!!
The book review has been written and is wonderful and I'd like to encourage you, the readers of my blog, to check it out. While you're there, please leave a comment, share the review on your Twitter or Facebook pages, and let others know about it. I want to share this review with...the world!!
The
reviewer of my book, Meaghan O'Keefe, is a wonderful writer in her own
right and I'd love to support her writing efforts (as well as -
unabashedly - getting a buzz going about this article.)
Enjoy!
Take care,
Jerome Stone
