Meditation in Hawaii, Now That's How to Do It!
|
Dear Friends - I hope that this note finds you well, enjoying a mindful life and the opportunity that it offers
you to practice meditation every day.Sometimes you need to get away from it all and just take time to relax, contemplate, and meditate. Even though I'm always writing about how important it is to integrate
meditation into your daily life, there are times when you need to put aside your to-do list, break from routine, and take the space to meditate. How about meditation in Hawaii? Yah, that's what I'm up to. I'm taking a well-deserved and long overdue vacation with my wife. We've left our son at home and we're staying at a cozy cottage on the Big Island,
taking time to nourish ourselves and enjoy the preciousness of the moment.
Why am I telling you this? A few reasons, none of which are to brag about my vacation.
First of all, as a long-time practitioner of meditation, I sometimes forget that I need to get out of the busyness of life to give my practice a boost. Sure,
meditation is about being in your life, present, aware, and spacious. That being said, it's easy to get caught up in things...don't you agree?
Second, I want to encourage you to take breaks in order to deepen your own practice. How? Keep reading.
Last, I want to invite you to join me in Hawaii later on this year or next spring for a meditation intensive. Seriously? Yes. Read on.
Fill Out a Survey, Come to Hawaii
|
I've been thinking recently that I need to check in with you to see if what I'm writing about and what I'm offering on my site is what you need. Makes sense, right?
Well, here's the deal. I created a 10-question
survey on SurveyMonkey to find out what I need to do to give you better content and how I can serve you so that you get everything that you need to become an excellent meditation practitioner. Pretty cool huh? Here's the deal, if you take a few minutes (probably about two!) of your time to fill out the survey, I'll give you 50% off of the already low price of the meditation
intensive. It's that simple. And it's not like you have to come to the intensive (although you should), even though it's going to be great, and your spouse or significant other can come along too (at 75% off!) and your kids can come too (we'll have a kids' program for them). But...but, even if you don't want to come, would you be willing to fill out the survey. It's really the only way that I'm going to know what I'm doing right and what I need to change.
Here's the link: Minding the Bedside Survey
Okay, need more incentive? One person who fills out the survey will receive a full, 100%, discount on the retreat...you'll get it for free! What do you have to lose...except for a few, maybe two, maybe three, minutes of your time?
