Meditation Intensive for Nurses

Meditation Intensive in Colorful Colorado

Dear ,

Are you really tired of showing up at work, depleted and looking forward to your next day off?

Would you like to have the time and space to relax and learn how to take better care of yourself?

Would you like to have everything that you need to know about how to meditate and be more present in your daily life?

I'm incredibly excited to announce that this October, I'll be offering a Meditation Intensive for Nurses, in Colorado.

Meditation Takes Practice

I've spent a lot of time on my site sharing with you the methods for learning how to meditate. And, so far, you've been pretty successful...haven't you?

Ultimately, no matter what it is that you're learning, the best way to get good at anything is to practice. Whether it's becoming a great nurse, riding a bicycle, or learning how to parent effectively, we all need to practice at whatever we're working on. Meditation is no different.

For some reason, though, many people believe that they should be able to just sit down and meditate. Really?

Make the Commitment to Yourself, to Learn How to Meditate

This autumn, from October 31st - November 2nd, a group of nurses (you too!) will be meeting at a wonderful retreat center in Loveland, Colorado, to learn how to put the methods that I've shared into practice.

This Meditation Intensive for Nurses will be your chance to learn how to practice, or strengthen your practice, in an intimate setting, in a beautiful environment, with a small group of people.

BRING A PARTNER! Because I value the special connection that marriage or partnership can bring to the practice of meditation, I'll be offering $50 off the registration fee to spouses, partners, or significant others of those who attend. Even though this intensive will be geared towards the nursing profession and healthcare practitioners, there will be plenty of content and practice to benefit anyone who comes, regardless of their profession.

The University of Colorado College of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This educational offering for 11 contact hours is provided by the University of Colorado College of Nursing Office of Lifelong Learning. A CNE certificate will be emailed to participants within 30 days of the conclusion of the program. Participants must sign in daily to receive credit for participation.
