From Jerome; Still Wondering, Do Nurses Support Each Other?

Published: Tue, 01/12/16

Hi ,

Happy (second week of) New Year!

I hope that this note finds you well, enjoying life...in spite of the curve-balls it may throw at you.

About two weeks ago, I sent out an email asking about nurse support, specifically how I can support the nursing community in general and you, as my readers.

I shared a three-question survey, to try to get an idea of what are the most pressing issues or challenges to nurses supporting each other. And many of you answered that survey; thank you!

This week, I'll be writing a post with a few ideas (based on what you've shared with me) on how we can mindfully and compassionately support one another.

For an idea of what I'll be writing, you can read my LinkedIn article, The Power of the Third Mind of Nursing.

I'm still trying to figure out what to write and what kind of course(s) I could create to support you in your career...and life.

In that vein, if you haven't yet, would you please help me to help other nurses by taking this short  survey? I would really appreciate it, and...it would help me to help you and your peers.

As always, please feel free to drop me a note if you'd like me to write about anything having to do with nursing quality-of-life, stress management and resiliency or mindfulness in nursing.

Have a mindful day.

Take care,
