Hey, I'm Back from the Dead...well, not really dead... ;-)

Hey

I hope that this note finds you well, enjoying life and all that it has to offer (even the tough stuff, cause that's how you "really" practice meditation, right?? )

How are things? Life? Work? Life-work balance? Your meditation/mindfulness practice? Please let me know; drop me a note, check in....

It's been a seriously long time - like a year! -  since I last wrote to you, wrote a blog post or an article or...did anything related to the book Minding the Bedside or about nurses and meditation. But it's NOT because I don't care...really....

For the past year I've been doing a bunch of online education for non-nursing studies (more on that another time), working on making a transition from bedside care to home-care AND I've been doing intensive study and practice in meditation and awareness. Which brings me back to....you!

Because I've been away for so long, I realize that my site and my blog posts have just been "sitting there" and yet still, almost "magically," people - you perhaps - keep on coming to the site, reading the blog posts, even...signing up as new readers. How cool is that?! (it's frickin' awesome is what it is!!)

But, I feel like I (might have?) let you down by not continuing to offer you support in your meditation and mindfulness practice. True? Untrue? Neither...? ;-)

So, what I want to do to get back into the swing of things is to find out how I can best serve you where you are now. That is, what kind of things would you like to know that can support you in your "caring practice" and your meditation practice? Feel free to contact me and let me know.

In the meantime, I'm going to share some of my best posts, ones that I feel can make the biggest difference in your work-life as well as your daily life.

Posts/articles:

Well , I think that's it for now. As I said, I'll be back soon. While I may not be blogging as frequently as I used to (time is compressed right now..) I want to remain a support for you in your meditation practice and in your practice of nursing (or other caring profession, since some of you work in other professions).

May all that you do to care for others be met with incredible success and may your mindfulness and awareness at the bedside bring you happiness as you work to help others.

Take care,
