Happy Nurses' Week...almost....
This Sunday is the beginning of National Nurse Week....hooray for
you!!!
(And....some of you aren't nurses, you're just really cool people who have been coming to my site for, like....ever!! Happy Nurses Week to you too!! Just the fact that you're here is enough to celebrate...)
Okay, so beginning this Tuesday, May 8th, and going until Thursday, May 10th, as I've done for the past two (or is it three?) years, I'm giving away copies of my book in the Kindle version.
Each year I do this to celebrate the importance of nursing and....you! Last year about 300 people downloaded the book and I hope that even more will do so this year.
But why give my book away?
Folks...friends...I never wrote my book to make millions; I wrote it because I want to provide nurses with tools and techniques to help them (you) show up at work...and in life, more fully alive and present!
Now, some people might think, "Yah, right, free...what's in it for him?" If that's the case, here's the answer:
If you get my book, and you read it and it helps you then...it helps you. And...it helps your patients. And...it helps your peers, because you're more mindful and aware.
